Wade Trips

Most fly fishing in Northern New Mexico is done on foot, and wade trips offer access to some of the region’s most productive water. From the Rio Grande to high mountain streams around Taos, we guide anglers across a range of locations—from easily accessible stretches to more remote sections of river.

All necessary gear is provided for wade trips, including waders/wading boots, rods, reels, lines, flies, and terminal tackle. After booking, you’ll receive a detailed checklist to help you prepare for your day on the water. Recommended items include a water bottle, polarized sunglasses, a rain jacket, and a hat. Conditions can change quickly throughout the day, so dressing in layers is always advised for comfort and adaptability.

You will need a New Mexico Fishing License, which is not included with trip. You can purchase one at https://wildlife.dgf.nm.gov Just a screenshot of license in enough.
