Northern New Mexico has a vast amount of angling opportunities, so many that we just can’t list them all out, nor do we want to give away all of our favorite spots. We have numerous small creeks in the area, from easier access, with a highway or dirt road along it, to some that require a hike in. We fish these streams in the summer/fall since most all of them are located in the mountains. Small stream fishing means solitude and trout hitting dry flies. These small creeks are the perfect way to get into the mountains and connect with the wilderness. All of our small creek fishing is for Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout and Brook Trout. We also have a few lakes we fish as well. Stillwater fishing for trout can be a blast, and is a style of fishing often overlooked by the fly angler. If there is a particular body of water you would like to fish, please let us know when you sign up for a trip.
